The Ontario Medical Students Association (OMSA) is the provincial voice of Ontario's medical students since 1974. We connect, support, and advocate for over 3000 students across all seven medical schools in Ontario.

How we work together?
OMSA vs OMA
OMSA is the provincial medical student representation at the Ontario Medical Association. Our job is to advocate for medical students on a provincial level, which means our council collaborates with the OMA and represents students on the OMA Section of Medical Students. The 2023-2024 OMSA council worked hard to increase the medical student presence, representation and impact at the OMA level by ratifying more positions. We hope that this change continues to impact important and beneficial change for all Ontario medical students.
